Great day for the club and great cup tie. Left home at about 12:30 and mum took me by car to ground as I wasn't well for the previous couple of days. Got to the ground at about 13:05 and was selling programmes at the Gander Green Lane end. Was very busy as expected and when it got to 14:00 it looked like there was already a crowd of 2,000 already. Sold out with about 5 mins left till KO. It was a cracking atmosphere with a capacity crowd in the ground. For the 1st half I struggled to find a space on the terrace because of the large crowd and ended up having to astride a bar to get a good view of the game. I then ended up sitting on the bar to watch the rest of the 1st half. We dominated proceedings in the 1st half and had three good chances between Tubbs, Biamou and Bailey that should have put up at least 1-0. Can't remember Worner being tested by Wimbledon and we didn't look like a side 2 divisions below them. For the second half I took up a position behind the goal at the Gander Green Lane End. Once again we looked the better side in the 2nd half but didn't really have as many clear cut chances as we did in the 1st half. Towards the end it started to look like we were starting to tire and the game finished 0-0. Was a very tense and thrilling game with a cracking atmosphere. Got to hope that Wimbledon have an off day in the replay as they are very good at home. After the game I met up with Dad and Joseph, who had been sitting in the seats for the game. We then walked to the bus stop where we had to wait for a good 20 mins for a 280 because of a crash. When we got to Mitcham we then got on the 127 home. We got back home at about 18:15 ish. Hoping to get a big side at home in the draw and hoping the replay is not being played when I'm in Brussels.
