Left home at about 12:45 and walked to Tooting station and got the 13:11 train to West Sutton. Started selling programmes at the Gander Green Lane and sold out about 15-20 mins before KO. Went to sit in the stand with Mum, Dad and Joseph after about 5 mins into the 1st half. 1st 30 mins of the half was quite a dull affair with both sides constantly playing long ball and not getting anywhere until we broke the deadlock through a free kick by Aswad Thomas which missed everyone in the penalty area for it to go in the back of the net. About 10 mins later, Barrow received a penalty for some reason as I did not see anything wrong and made it 1-1 which is what the score was at HT. We came out of the blocks 2nd half and within 10-15 mins we were 3-1 up with goals from Josh Taylor and Moses Emmanuel. Barrow offered little as a threat and we looked like we would go on to win the game by a much bigger margin. However, Barrow got one back through a long ball and a scrap in the penalty area which was the only way they were going to score as they didn't put 2 passes together in our half from my memory. Managed to survive a load of long balls in the last 10 mins and hold out for the 3 points. Got the 17:10 train from West Sutton back to Tooting station and got home at about 17:50. That win puts back on top of the league and proves that this season will be one of the tightest for a long time which will make it very entertaining but nervy at the same time.
