Enjoyable afternoon at Edgeley Park. Had a lucky pi55 beforehand - found a tenner - happy days! Sat in family (Together) stand. Group of middle aged fellas nearby singing songs they shouldn''t in the family stand - all old enough to know better - but very funny when they latched on to Walsall left winger called Gordon who was having a bad game. They sang Gordon is a Moron, yeah yeah it''s not fair, etc. to him. Needless to say his play didn''t improve and he was subbed at half time. Decent attendance but a mediocre game. Stockport dominated but didn''t create many actual chances on goal. They went 1 up after 30 ish mins but couldn''t add to it and got punished with 3 mins to go. Walsall were very poor but somehow nicked a point - lucky boys. Nice day out after a long spell with no football - and 1st match for me post heart attack - happy days!
