The Perelli is an unusual stadium for a team in the Championship.// End of season 17/18: On the final day of the season with goals going in all over the League the Brewers, Barnsley and Bolton Wanderers were all bouncing in and out of the relegation zone. Only two other teams could go down with Sunderland already relegated. Burton were 1-1 away at Preston, Bolton were 2-1 down at home to Forest and Barnsley were 4-0 down at Derby County. Unfortunately for Burton Bolton scored two late goals to beat Forest 3-2 and in extra time Preston scored to beat Burton 2-1. So down to League One go Barnsley, Burton Albion and Sunderland. At the other end Wolves won the title with Neil Warnock''s Cardiff City finishing second thanks to a 0-0 draw at home to Reading and Fulham''s surprising 3-1 away defeat to Birmingham City. Into the play offs go Fulham, Villa, Middlesbrough and Derby County.
