An end-of-season trip to Accrington, where I''d been before, but this was a ''big'' game as Crawley needed to win to get promotion. After a frustrating first half in which both teams got chances, they scored midway through the second half to hold out - thus denying Southend. The weather, from memory, was a bit overcast and Accrington isn''t the nicest of grounds, but it was a good, steady and enjoyable day out on the train.
