Went to the game with renewed hope after the recent improved performances against Spurs and Fulham with the expectation of at least a point. On arrival we set out to find a pub and came across The Royal Oak just down from the ground. Colin and I enjoyed a few pints whilst watching England beat Italy in the 6 Nations. We had a superb unrestricted view of the game and it was disappointing to concede a goal early in the second half to a deflection off Caulker wrong footing Marshall. However, we came back strong and scored within 8 minutes through a superb free kick from Whittingham being turned over the line by Juan Cala. What was to follow however, was cruel and unbelievable, when Seamus Coleman connected with the ball his miskick initially going wide bent in and looped over a totally wrong footed Marshall and ito the net with 30 seconds of injury time left to play, in fact the referee blew for time straight after the restart. We played superbly in the second half and fully deserved a point but again luck was not running our way and it was not to be.
