Comments :
Oxford destroyed Reading with some excellent football. Brock was outstanding for them. Elm Park was a pleasing venue. One old stand on one side: a large terraced bank on the other and two ends with relatively limited terracing. A ground very much surrounded by terraced housing. Probably little changed from when a young John Arlott watched his football.
