Another chance to see a match in the Greater London area!
I took the newly-derailised London Overground up to Watford Junction. - It was a bit of a slog to the ground but I could easily see the floodlights on the horizon so it was pretty straight forward.
-
Vicarage Road has been nicely redeveloped over the years and looks quite smart. - They just need to finish off one of the sides, which is still a bit of a mishmash of old stands, and the place will look excellent.
-
City again had a very good following and we were situated quite high up in one of the ends.
-
Another fantastic game saw us weather a bit of a storm - at the start of - the game, but we then went on to dominate the match. - We grabbed a lead late on through - our ex-Luton striker Enoch Showumni. - With a few minutes remaining, - the humorously named John-Joe O''Toole got what looked like an equaliser for them, but then with seconds remaining - Darren Byfield - got the winner much to our fans'' delight!
