Left home with Charlie at about 12:30 and walked to Bache station to get the 13:00 train up to Rock Ferry. Walked from the station to the ground getting there just after 14:00 and queued to get into the ground. Went and sat down about 30 mins before KO but the atmosphere was already building. Tranmere started the game well and were probably the better side for the first 10 mins but once Maguire opened the scoring in the 10th minute, Tranmere looked like they were not bothered with the game and did not do the basics. Man Utd ran riot and were pretty much scoring with every attempt they had with it being 0-5 at HT. The second half was as expected with Man Utd taking their foot off the gas a bit and only adding one goal through a penalty to make the final score 0-6. They had chances to make it an even bigger scoreline but unlike the first half didn't take them. Walked back to Rock Ferry with Charlie and then got the train back to Bache getting home at about 18:20.
