Left home about 13:30 and walked to Streatham Common station before getting the train to Sutton station and walking to the ground. Got to the ground at about 14:40. Colchester started the game better and took the lead within 6 mins through Cameron McGeehan and should''ve doubled their lead as we were all over the place in the first 10-15 mins. Thankfully we got level not long after our poor spell through the ball dropping to Lakin in the penalty area and he made it 1-1. We were arguably the better side for the rest of the game and had the clearest chances to win it and should''ve done so with 10 mins remaining when Smith missed a penalty. Ended 1-1 and with games running out looks like a return to non-league is ever more likely. Got the 280 back to Mitcham and then the 127 home getting back at about 17:50.
