Groundhopper GuidesThe Groundhopper Guides date back to 1974 when Steve Chambers was asked to do a guide to the Football League grounds of the day. It was called the Travelling Supporters Guide to Football League Clubs and was published by Hobbypress of Hull. John Aitken came on board in 1980 and in 1988 the Groundhoppers Guide was introduced to give people information about teams below the 92 in the non-League Pyramid. Initially it covered the Conference, Northern Premier League, Isthmian League and Southern League but has steadly been expanded to Level 7 (Step 12). The full Guide is now an eye watering 1700 pages and 153Mb in size.. John has made the latest Guide available to download from here but to keep the size down he's divided it into Leagues. It's well worth getting hold of as it's a pretty definitive document of clubs from the Prem down to Step 7. * John has asked for assistance with the next edition.
