Went with Charlie after he came down for the weekend. Went for curry in Tooting for lunch and then got the 280 to the ground getting there at about 14:30. Stood on the curved terrace next to the main stand. Lots of changes to the ground over the summer because of promotion to EFL. We started the game really well and put Oldham under large amounts of pressure but couldn''t find the opening goal that we deserved. Oldham came back into the game slightly and put us under some pressure but it ended up being 0-0 at HT. The second half was similar to the first, we were arguably the better side and did eventually take the lead in approximately 70 mins through Ajiboye after a shot from Eastmond crashing off the crossbar which was eventually bundled in for our first goal in the EFL at home. We looked good value for the win and Oldham didn''t create too many clear cut chances. Sadly we just kept getting deeper and deeper and Oldham equalised after a ball in from the left was headed in via the post from their CB with a few mins plus injury time left. We then started to throw bodies forward again to regain our lead and with 7 added mins we looked like we could''ve got something. From our corner, Oldham managed to counter attack and the ball rebounded around in our area before their winger struck the ball home to nick the 3 points off us in the last couple of mins of added time. Really tough to take at FT but the first win should be coming soon. Went into the bar after the game with Charlie and then stayed out in town until about 00:30.
