Left home at about 12:30 and walked to Tooting station planning to get the train to West Sutton but they were all cancelled so ended up getting the 280 bus to Sutton Green and walked to the ground. Got to the ground at about 13:20 and was selling programmes at the Gander Green Lane end today. Finished selling about 5 mins after KO and went to sit in the main stand with Mum and Joseph. Not much happened in the 1st half with the game being very stop and start due to injuries with a good shot from Koroma for Orient being the highlight. The second half was a much more entertaining affair with both sides having chances. We took the lead through a great strike from Ayunga in the 55th minute after he cut inside and stuck the ball in the top corner. We were worthy for our 1-0 lead and looked the better side. We gifted Orient the equaliser about 10 mins later after giving away a free kick which was floated in only for Worner, having come on as a substitute at HT, to completely miss his punch and gift the Orient player a free header. In the 75th min, Orient were then reduced to 10 men after the player who went down injured and requiring a stretcher threw his shoe at the referee only to be sent off as he was being carried off the pitch. Sutton then should've gone onto winning it after having the majority of possession for the rest of the game. However, in the last minute Worner decided to do some kick ups when the ball was passed back to him rather than clear it. The ball was then loose after a horrible touch which lead Worner to drag down the Orient striker for a penalty. They tucked away the penalty in the last minute to send them back on top of the league and completely shoot our chance of a positive result and a place off place in the foot. A disappointing end to a game that looked so promising at one stage. Got the 280 back to Mitcham library with Mum and Joseph and then got 201 home getting home at about 18:00.
