76 League games played at Athletic Ground (Loughborough) by Loughborough

The club was elected into the Football League Division 2 in 1895 and failed to gain re-election in 1900. The ground was closed in 1896/7 (after crowd trouble at the Walsall match on October 10th, 1896); between January 23rd and February 6th, 1899 (because of crowd trouble at a reserve fixture versusin January 1899) and for one month following crowd trouble at the Woolwich Arsenal fixture (2-3) on March 3rd, 1900. During these periods of closure, and to avoid fixture clashes with the cricket club, some matches were played at Filbert Street and The Vicarage at Whitwick.
