If you're a regular user of doingthe92.com you'll know that the site has been creaking a little over the last few months. We hit some architectural limits and so the poor old code was struggling to cope.

The original site was created in 2007, the same year as the first iPhone, and it was designed very much for use on a computer landscape screen. As we all moved towards using a mobile phone, it meant the old design was on borrowed time.

So here, at last, is our new site! It still uses the old database, so all your data is safe. It's just the way the site works and is presented that has changed. It should now work on any sized screen, although some of the data heavy pages will need a bit of scrolling left and right to see everything.

We're still actively working on the rewrite but wanted to go live in time for the World Cup because we know a few of you have travelled to see some games on the other side of the Atlantic.

Due to the ongoing development you'll probably find some bits don't work quite right, or are missing. Please use the new Contact Us form in the taskbar at the top to let us know anything you find. We'd love to hear your feedback - good and bad - and of course any suggestions of improvements / fixes / new features.

Our principals haven't changed - we want this site to be for fans like us, who like to keep a log of their games, enjoy the odd stat and enjoy looking back through old football cards and programmes.
