Another Carlnig Cup exit on penalties. We played poorly though; poor Collins had an awful game at full back and Ikeme kept us in it with a couple of fine saves. Turned out to be Elliotts last match, an ineffective substitute. The amin story was teh stadium though. The athletics stadium with on side open and a very non-football like design. The pitch is, as expected, surrounded by an atheltics track and far away from the crowd giving an odd atmosphere. Plenty of jokes about the manager being for the high jump if we don't win. Strange set up when leaving the ground to. You are directed to park on the side of the ground where the fans sit but then leave by the opposite end giving you a 15 minute trek back to the cars
