It was almost worth being in Div 4 for this night. A late goal from John Francis secured the Divisional Championship. Funniest event on a chaotic night was when the Police tried to persuade a dozen or so Burnley fans down off the roof of the groundsman's store. They would not come down so the police got a ladder, climbed up and shepherded the fans down. Unfortunately for the police the last Burnley fan pulled the ladder down. Brilliant.
Burnley won 4th Div title.
