This is one of the rare occasions I went to do a ground when Burnley were at home. However, if I had left this, it could have been too late. Gillingham and Halifax were locked in the relegation places. Gillingham had not won away and if they lost this game looked doomed. What was surprising was that both sides played decent football. Halifax lost out and went down, but most of their players went on to have decent careers in the League.
