Match no. 24. A wonderful performance by West Ham, orchestrated by Johnny Byrne and with hat-tricks by Geoff Hurst and Johnny Sissons. Arrived late due to delays on tube. Entered the West Enclosure just as Sissons scored Hammers'' first goal. No room there so a steward let us through a door onto the South Bank where we squeezed in at the back and watched the game with a restricted view. I have a clear memory of Martin Peters advancing on goal at the South Bank end before shooting. We had to rely on the crowd''s roar to tell us it was a goal! Dad was with me and Keith for this great game.
