Blackpool away, one Fletch had been waiting for for years as for his love for the city off Blackpool. It didn't turn out to be quite the day he had hoped for !!   A lift from away driver Dave, a macces breakfast and on the coach the lads set off. Joe was reading his usual guardian, Fletch the Ricky Hatton autobiography so luckily the lads didn't have to speak to each other much.   After a service station stope the lads arrived in Blackpool shortly after 1pm, time to find a pub !! The lads took a walk along the sea front, Fletch purchased 4 off Blackpools finest sticks off rock and the lads soon arrived at Cahoots !! £1.50 a pint, what a bargain, the day had started well, the lads downed 3 pints and then got a taxi to the ground !!   Joe's mate pete was outside the ground, a quick chat with him and in the ground the lads went !! WHAT A SHITHOLE !! PROBABLY THE WORST GROUND IN ENGLAND !! Just 2 stands, yes 2 stands, a temporary stand and no stand !! The ground was appauling along with the facilities but the food to be fair wern't bad !!   The game was a shocker, we lost 2-0, DJ Campbell the former Blues fans favourite scored the first goal and in fairness to him didn't celebrate and did waive to the fans pre-match !! The second was a screamer, nothing could be done about it !! Blues where shocking, ''its just like watching scotland'' was the chant from the away following !! McCleish's tactics and team again laughable !!   The best moments on the days where three seperate incidents when Blues supporters where trying to fight each other and with about 5 minutes to go Blues fans started to do the congo witch resulted in a mini charge at the police and stewards but nothing too serious !! Full time, boos from the way fans !!   Luckily the lads arrived back in brum at 7:20pm which was excellent new, Fletch and Joe headed to the Dragons Inn and where soon met by Fletch and Jim !! A quick beer and the two pro snooker players went for a game off snooker while Fletch and Joe stood in the cold drinking there beers having every begger in Birmingham come up to them !! Ricky and Jimmy come back, a couple more beers and the lads headed to the Arcadin where no one would let them in !!   Selfy soon departed in a taxi while Fletch, Jimmy and Ricky headed to the shoes for a few beers and then a end of night balti !!   Crap game but as always good day !!
