Not a bad trip to the Weston Homes, despite the scoreline. Colchester had done their homework (or simply read some of the program notes) and out-muscled Charlton. The ground is fine with four separate stands, rather than a wrap-around. The only mystery is why the traffic management is so appalling. Having paid £5+£2 P&P to park in the club car-park, we were bemused as to why we were not let out for 30 minutes after the game. Keeping both sets of fans together in a confined space, with very few stewards and no police seems like an odd decision.
