Only a handfull of games survived the weather this day and i was the only one in our group of four that had visited the Ricoh before so i drove down with Tony Kit and Ron. It was also a bonus to catch up with former Rover Ian Hulme the first time since he had revovered from a fractured skull. One of the stewards picked up on our story plus some odf us in rovers colours which led to our picture being taken and used in the next programme plus the local media got in on the act and printed an article which claimed we had helped clear snow in the car park to help get the game on, whilst i'm sure we would have been happy to do so it wasn't factually correct!
