Came to this game hungover, and hoping for a much better display than against Blackpool in the previous home game. Liverpool were completely dominant in the first half, and should have had the game wrappe up, but it remained 0-0. Kyrgiakos finally opened the scoring early in the second half, but Blackburn soon equalised against the run of play with an own-goal from Carragher. But moments later, Torres put Liverpool back in front and they held on.
