Bristol Rovers 0-1 Aldershot Aldershot extended their unbeaten run to seven matches in all competitions with victory over Bristol Rovers. Alex Rodman scored the decisive goal, firing a low shot past Pirates goalkeeper Scott Bevan from 12 yards. Luke Guttridge also went close for the visitors, but headed wide of the post from a corner. The home side put the Shots under pressure in the second half but were unable to find the net, with Eliot Richards stabbing wide from six yards. VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM Aldershot boss Dean Holdsworth told BBC Surrey: We were magnificent in the first half and very professional in the second half. The desire to keep a clean sheet was there for all to see. Alex took his goal well and I was a bit disappointed we didn''t get the second. We''re slowly gathering a great team spirit. We''ve got to prepare now for Rochdale at home in the Carling Cup on Tuesday. It''s our Cup final, and there will be a great atmosphere.
