Only one change from Saturdays defeat at Carlisle with Adeyemi replacing Dave in midfield. However, the Bees were second best all over the park for 70 mins. Dean dithered and got caught in possession to pretty much gift Swindon the lead, albeit a deserved one. A second error a few mins later was spurned by the visitors and the post came to our rescue. We are very inexperienced at the mo and I think think is hindering us at the business end of the season. The introduction of Saunders for Dallas and BWP for Trotta added some much needed experience and it paid almost immediate dividends. BWP played a ball over the top for Donaldson to run on to. The keeper took Clayton out as he pushed the ball past him and Saunders levelled the scores from the resultant spot kick. Two mins later and Sam was close to a brace when his 20 yard free kick cannoned back off the crossbar. The Bees were now in the ascendency and a further two mins on Clayton finds himself in a goal scoring position and he made no mistake from 8 yards out to put the Bees into an unlikely lead. Further gilt edged chances were wasted by BWP and Clayton but we held on for a brilliant win which takes us above Swindon and into third place.
