Surprisingly my first trip to the valley (If you excluded being in the womb as my mum kindly took me in 1996). We had a 4-4 draw with them a couple season back which i couldn't get a ticket to so yeah my first time there. Only needed to get the 180 bus so not the longest journey. We'd just beaten Blackburn to reach the fa cup semi finals so the atmosphere from our fans was amazing. We was on top all game with Charlton rarely having an opportunity. And it paid off with 2 second half goals which included one of the if not the best live free kick iv'e seen from Shane Lowry about 35 yards out. Great day out. The sound of 3000 Millwall fans singing 'We're going to Wembley' at the valley is a great memory. Away end could do with a bit of work but definitely not the worst iv'e been to.
