A nice day out. A sunny walk along the canal from pub to ground!

Another game of Uwe the Brave not turning up again !!! Bossed the game for the first 20 mins but only had a lob from Donaldson which unluckily bounced wide to show for it. Coventry came back into it for a spell but we still edged it. Unfortunately, Dean pulled a Coventry striker over in the area right on HT which was converted sending us in at the break 1 down. Most Bees fans including me were screaming for a second striker to help Clayton out from very early on and we hoped Uwe would satisfy us with HT changes up front. Alas, it was not to be with Dave coming on for Douglas. However, the Bees equalised immediately from the restart. Clayton used his strength brilliantly down the wing and crossed to Forshaw. A Coventry defender nicked it off his foot but only pushed the ball to Forester who couldn't miss. An excellent start from the break but it didn't galvanise us as I hoped it would. BWP was finally brought on for Hodson (with Logan reverting to RB) on 72 mins. He was largely ineffective but I would argue for 90 mins would've been better. Sam replaced Harry not long after but although dominating still we only really had a snap shot from Clayton near the end to show for chances. Again, I don't think Uwe is brave enough and I think that cost us automatic promo.
