Left my house in Chester with Dad at about 12:30 ish and drove to Stoke. Got to the ground at about 14:00 after parking about 15 mins away from the ground. The game itself was a cracking one with Blackburn playing the better football in the opening 20 or so mins and Stoke not getting much say in an attacking sense. Blackburn took the lead after 25 mins through Dack who was unbelievable all game long. Blackburn carved Stoke open too quickly throughout the game and got behind the Stoke right back too easily. They doubled their lead just before HT through Danny Graham which was a very similar goal to the first. Stoke looked dreadful at this point and couldn''t string 2 passes together. Blackburn came out in the 2nd half and within a min they had got a 3rd through Reed. Very easy to get in behind the Stoke defence who seemed to be ball watching and not holding their line very well. Dack should''ve added a 4th after hitting the post from close range when he had an open goal. In the 79th min, Stoke got one back as Blackburn started to take their foot off the pedal and they then got a 2nd a minute after which made it a thrilling end to the game capped off by Berahino blasting a penalty agaisnt the bar in the 90th minute for Stoke. Overall, Stoke deserved nothing from the game and the 2 goals probably saved Rowett''s job. Left Dad at the ground and walked back to the station along the canal for 40 mins, Got the train back to Crewe and got back to Chester at about 19:30.
