Went with Charlie and left Chester at about 18:00 and walked to Bache station and got the 18:30 train to Rock Ferry. Walked for about 25 mins to the ground and got to the ground at about 19:20. Sat in the John King stand at the front along half way. The game itself was a very entertaining one. Bury needed a point to go up and Tranmere needed a win to keep automatic promotion hopes alive. Tranmere were the much better side in the 1st half and took the lead through Norward after a corner was delivered in for him to head down into the bottom corner. Tranmere played some very nice football in the first half and should've easily been leading by a greater margin going into HT but couldn't take advantage. Bury came out early for the 2nd half which said a lot about their first half performance and they completely turned the game on its head in the 2nd half playing some brilliant football and creating numerous chances before they equalised in the 55th minute. The game then became an open one for the last 30 mins with both sides looking to win the game but as it got to the last 5 mins Bury started time wasting and going into the corner which ruined the good football being played before. There were scenes at FT with some Bury fans pitch invading and about 10 arrests which we stayed around to watch. Left the ground at about 22:00 and walked back to Rock Ferry, getting the 22:30 train back to Bache and walked home getting back just after 23:00.
