Stewarded one of the tranmere coaches had an issue with some of the fans which took away from the day. Nice to see vale had finally completed the seats in the main stand although no fans allowed to sit in them! Apparently their biggest attendance for six years with over 1,300 tranmere fans. Not the best game, fairly even although Vale hit the post and Murphy made a good save whilst i can''t remember their keeper having to make a save. The ref booked two rovers players for incidents that didn''t merit a card whilst some harder challenges from some vale players went unpunished.
