Went with Dad for a 6 pointer clash to get in the play offs. Left home at about 13:30 and walked to Tooting station and got the 280 bus to Sutton Green before walking to the ground. Got to the ground at about 14:20. The game itself was a tough watch with Newport having the most of the ball and possession but not too many clear cut chances. We didn''t have too many chances in the game until injury time in the 1st half when Ajiboye raced free from their player before being tripped up in the box, with Milsom dispatching the penalty and sending us in 1-0 up at HT. The second half was a very nervous affair with Newport having pretty much all of the ball and having us pretty much pinned in our own half until about 75 mins when we managed to relieve a bit of pressure and win some free kicks and set pieces to start to kill the game off. Thankfully we managed to hold on to take 6 points over the Easter weekend putting us right back in the mix for the play offs and potentially automatics. Walked back to the bus stop and got the 280 bus into Mitcham before getting the 127 back, getting in at about 17:45.
