UEFA Europa League, Round of 32, 1st Leg

With Dad, back at White Hart Lane together 32 years after first going and over 4 years since our last game together! (v Wolves in 2010) Tickets same price accross the ground £25 so sat in West Upper, just about got in after issue with Rik''s membership card so I had to pretend to be him and get a paper ticket issued after he gave Dad an expired membership card Had just about taken our seats when Soldado scored a great volley from a corner but unfortunatley he gave away a silly free kick later in the first half which they equalised from Fairly even second half and 1-1 a fair result Fiorentina fans noisy ! Saw Levy and Baldini in the directors box just below us Cracking view from seats although poor space to the seat in front. Not much singing up there but could hear and see the rest of the ground, great perpective of the game Good facilities, no queue at half time for tea and a little club shop up their too !

Match no. 1171. Fiorentina won the 2nd leg 2-0 so Spurs lost 3-1 on aggregate. 40 years ago today: Match no. 336 - West Ham 0-0 Liverpool - 19.2.1975.

Tottenham were brilliant in first 40 mins, Soldado scored a great goal. But Fiorentina equalised before half time. Cheese quarterpounder 7/10.Light drizzle.
