Match no. 193. When Geoff Hurst smashed a shot past Joe Corrigan at the North Bank end a young boy emerged from the South Bank and ran the length of the pitch to offer his congratulations. By the time he got there, however, it had been disallowed for offside! He then sought refuge in the North Bank but was removed by a policeman, a photo of the incident appearing in a subsequent match programme.
