Think we decided to go to this game at quite short notice - companions for the day were David Leigh, Stuart Gibbard, Chris Bancroft. As we travelled up to the game in my mitsubishi galant little did we expect to witness the result we did....we were absolutely imperious - this just happened to be our FIRST ever away win in the Prem and boy did I enjoy it - one of those games were it seemed every shot would be a goal. On the way home and stuck in traffic in middlesborough town centre I decided to put a call into GMR and actually got on the phone in...had to jump out of the drivers seat to take the call with Dave taking control....i don''t think i made much sense as i was delerious - for instance i recall proposing blake for an england call up A rare moment of joy in a season of lows !
