West Brom at home towards the end of March 2003 was a right six pointer !! Albion where in the bottom three, Birmingham where not but not a million miles away !!   A early kick off but Fletch and Jimmy managed a couple of quick beers, the first half started and was pretty dull the teams went in goaless !! Blues had attacked the tilton first half so where now attacking the family stand / away end !!   The second half began and Albion put on the pressure twice hitting the woodwork !! Birmingham where worried and had a go themselves but could not find a way through the game looked like it was going to end goaless until in the third minute off injury time Sten John battled to get a cross in and Geoff Hosrsfield headed home to steal the points and push Birmingham further away from the premiership trap door !! The fans went wild, the players went wild, Ian Bennett ran from his goal to the half way line to celebrate !! A great victory for Birmingham !!   Fletch and Jimmy hit the Stephen Clemence after the game for a few celebratory drinks !!!!
