My first visit of hundreds to the famous Boleyn Ground , didnt really support any team as such maybe liverpool and charlton but loved football and was talked into coming to watch this game by my mates and fell in love with the place. As i was to find out over the years, typical west ham played Luton off the pitch and still lost..... i think Brian Stein and Bob Hatton scored for Luton and Paul Allen scored for us..... felt sorry for the Hammers and supported them ever since !!!

Match no. 466. Luton led 2-0 at half-time and although Paul Allen pulled one back with his first League goal, Hammers remained firmly in the bottom half of the table.
