Took the train to longport? near burslem and got talking to a chap on a train who had some old tranmere progs to sell including a game against villa in the 70's so it was a good start to the day. bit of a walk to the ground went in with the home fans on the side opposite the main stand it was in the days when vale had a prolific strike force
