Match no. 1048. An entertaining and incident-packed match. Hertford scored first through Draper (2 mins) and Adedye equalised for Boro (17). Adedye then scored again (26) despite being flagged offside, the ref over-ruling the linesman and awarding the goal. Sentence (31) made it 3-1 to Boro with a Bostock own goal (37) making it 3-2 at half-time. At the start of the second-half Boro''s Skinner conceded a penalty and was red-carded. However, Boro keeper Thompson saved the spot-kick. On the hour the numbers were evened up when Evans of Hertford was sent off for a second yellow card. Goals from Johnson (66) and Roberts near the end then completed a 4-3 win for Hertford.
