Left Chester at about 11:30 and walked to station but my train was delayed by 30 mins which meant I missed my connection at Warrington and I then had to get the later train. Changed once again at Preston and then got the train from there to Kirkham & Wesham. Walked to the ground from there which took about 15 mins and I got to the ground at about 14:20. The ground itself is a very impressive one and would not look out of place in the football league apart from one end opposite where I was in the away end which has not been built on at all. The game itself was a good one with us dominating the ball for most of the game, especially in the 2nd half. We created one or two chances in the 1st half and got down the channels well but didn't have any clear cut chances. Fylde too the lead took the lead after about 30 mins through a mistake in our defence. We knocked on the door continuously for the remainder of the 1st half and throughout the 2nd and finally scored through our academy CB Pearce from a corner. We then looked like the side that could go on and win the game but Fylde took the lead again after good play down the left flank from their winger who curled it into the corner to give them the lead. I feared the worse at this moment after working so hard to get it back to 1-1 but thankfully we managed to score a 2nd and equalise through Cadogan a couple of minutes from time. Overall, a very good point away to a side that will probably finish in the play offs at the end of the season. Walked back to the station and got the train to Preston and Crewe and got back to mine at about 20:00.
