Comments :
Went straight from the Fleetwood game to Fylde arriving about 5 mins after KO. Met Charlie in the ground, but were directed into the Eastleigh end and after about 5 mins moved into the Fylde end. The game itself was an open one with both sides having a fair share of the ball. Fylde took the lead after about 30 mins through a deflected shot from the edge of the area which looped over the Eastleigh goalkeeper into the net. It was 1-0 at HT with Fylde probably deserving the lead. Within a couple of mins of the restart, Eastleigh equalised through a free kick which was headed in by the Eastleigh captain. Fylde then stepped it up a gear and were the better side for the rest of the half and deservedly took the lead around 60 mins through a lovely finish after a driving run from midfield. They managed to extend their lead after about 80 mins through a scrappy goal which was eventually bundled over the line to make it 3-1 and deservedly give Fylde the 3 points. Drove down to Chester and got back to the house at 21:00 and unpacked all my stuff for uni.
