Manchester United | 18 Feb 1910 | Current | The club moved here from Bank Street in 1910. Following bomb damage sustained in WWII they played home matches at Maine Road between 1946 & 1949. The match v. Arsenal on August 20th, 1971 was played at Anfield and the fixture v. West Bromwich Albion on August 23rd, 1971 at the Victoria Ground following crowd trouble at Old Trafford. | |

Stockport County | 6 May 1921 | 8 May 1921 | Temp | This match was played here after Edgeley Park was closed following crowd trouble and took place shortly after the Manchester United v. Derby County afternoon fixture had finished. As Stockport County had already been relegated the fans boycotted this game in protest and although this situation led to the record for the lowest ever Football League attendance being established when only 13 paid at the gate, it was also witnessed by a couple of thousand spectators who had stayed on following the previous match. |
