Kev
Rob at The Amex

  • How many grounds had you visited before you realised you wanted to do the lot?
  • Always wanted to do this.

  • Did you choose the last ground you were going to visit or did it just pan out that way?
  • Just worked out this way, could only do grounds have not been to before when Bristol Rovers were not playing

  • Did you have company for some or all of it – were you in competition with anyone else and what happened to them?
  • Had company for most of them

  • How many had you done when you thought ‘Right, I’m going to finish this now’?
  • This season thought must do it - wanted to do by time had reached 50, so just a year over due!

  • Obvious question but, best day out?
  • Playoff final 2007 at Wembley v Shrewsbury

  • Did you manage to do more than one ground in a day at any point?
  • No.

  • What does Plainmoor have that the Emirates never will?
  • Lots of Seagulls!

  • Did you ever turn up to find the game wasn’t on, or that you’d gone to the wrong ground?
  • A couple - worst one Gillingham away rang the ground 4 times assured the game was on but twenty minutes away from the ground heard on radio game was off. Also went to Shrewsbury 3 times for JPT game- first two called off half way there.

  • Any bizarre incidents along the way. Any brushes with anyone famous/infamous?
  • Coming back from Wigan one year on train at Bristol Parkway saw Bobby Gould totally out of it!

  • Now you’ve joined the small band of 92ers do you plan to keep visiting new grounds as they are introduced to the League, or do you consider it to be a one-off, job-done deal?
  • No will do new grounds as they come up, have done 82 with Rovers my aim is do all 92 with Rovers.

  • What was your memento/proof of each visit – program, photo, ticket stub, badge?
  •  I used to buy programmes. Have tickets for some of games but when i first started going there were no tickets for terraces.
