Went with lee straight after work to this friendly. Got here fairly quick despit being held up at a quarry level crossing for the slowest train ever. It turned out to be the cheapest night of all the games I ever been to. Only £2 to park (appparently this will be free during the regular season), £5 to get in and only £4 for chesse burger and chips! Its quite a nice ground at Burton - fairly simple but just right for there means as its compact, tidy and looks quite smart. We sat in the side stand which had really good facilities.
Burton were really on top through out the whole game and will be upset not to have scored quite a few more. Derby had a few first teamers but did not create much at all. Giles Barnes played who had been touted as really good a couple of years ago, yet he did nothing.
Got home in under two and a half hours which was happy days and another one off the list.

Went with Rob, pretty uneventful journey up that went quickly, only incident of note when Rob decided to do a handbreak turn in a layby in front of 2 unsuspecting locals screeching his tyres like a gary-boy!  - Got in for only £5 which was decent, although we thought we were going in with the home fans we were actually in with the Derby lot.  -   - Burton played well and were fully deserved of their victory created so many chances and could well of ended up with 6 or 7.  - the stadium itself was tidy and compact but nothing to write home about! Journey back went quickly also and another good one to get of the list.
