Drank my first pint since my operation, at the Bricklayers, an Adnams pub near Colchester station, and I only had to change at the stadium, so things improving. Good game and Sam Baldock the MK Dons striker scored a composed hattrick in the second half to deflate the home supporters. I sat next to a friendly home fan. Cloudy cool day. Caught shuttle bus back to the station, the 17 30 fast train back to Liverpool Street, bus to London Bridge, and the 18 34 to Hayes. 314 bus dropped me near home, back by 19 25.
