My Dad was living in Bedfordshire at the time and me and my mate Paul were staying with him for a few days, i managed to convince him to drop us off at the ground and pick us up afterwards, it was the first proper away ground away from Merseyside but was a pretty drab affair stood on open terrace behind a goal. Remember going in the porta cabin cum programme shop before the game and picking up a few progs from Watfords European adventure
