Comments :
Continuing my Xmas break football feast (of sorts!) this was another day of 2 matches in a day. Went with Craig who like me for some obscure reason seems to like football at this level. Went to Felixstowe as my previous cricket player of the season Glen Snell is manager there. Got to the ground just before kick off and headed in (£6), saw my mate on the way in and he said they were sure to lose as Craig and I were there, having been on a good run recently! Stood around the half way line and was impressed with the set up although basic the ground was tidy. Game was good, played in good spirits with some excellent passing. Kirkley took the lead in a fairly even first half. Both goalkeepers looked extremely dodgy. Felixstowe equalised before the break. The 2nd half was all Felixstowe and although creating several chances could not punch the ball in for a winner. A cople of goal line clearance occured. All in all a enjoyable game, shame felixstowe couldn''t get the deserved winner though. After a swift stop in Corals on the High Street it was on to Needham for their home game against Heybridge Swifts.
