Got this local one in, only taking 10 minutes to get there. Met Craig at the match and was pleased at the modest £4 to get in. Little ground very basic but has shown some improvements in recent years and looks better now than it used too. Ruel Fox who is Whitton''s chairman was in attendance and looked to be getting interviewed near to where we were sat. The game wasn''t great and the level poor, to be fair Whitton actually looked ok but Stowmarket were truly awful, perhaps the worst I have seen at any level. Whitton won the game very easily and their 2nd goal was outstanding, a shot from fully 40 yards that dipped at the last minute into the roof of the net beating the keeper at full stretch. Can''t imagine i will be in a rush to visit again but its another one done.
