Comments :
Went to this game on my own on a wet Saturday afternoon. Left it a bit late to leave really. After filling up with fuel at Beacon Hill the Sat Nav said I was going to arrive 3 minutes after kick off. After speeding the whole way up the A140 and the Yarmouth Road I actually arrived 10 minutes before. Went in to a really nice little ground, probably the best I have seen for the level. It continued to rain but not so heavy, I stood behind the goal and watched the first half. The game was really enjoyable. Felixstowe, managed by my mate were good value again and are a good side to watch, playing slick passing football. They took the lead with a well worked goal, the striker beat the offside trap and squared the ball expertly for the other striker to slide home. Both sides had a couple of other chances before the half but it was the visitors who went in ahead. Had a nice cuppa at half time and headed round tonear the dug outs for the 2nd half. Felixstowe got a deserved 2nd goal and went on to squander several good chance and positions and Norwich increasingly came into the match. Spoke briefly with my mate whilst he was actively managing from the sidelines. Norwich scored with about 10 minutes left to bring it back to 1-2 and despite dominating the game it looked like Felixstowe may throw it away. It was comical to see the obvious worry on my mates face and the felixstowe side line. A couple of tactic substitutions and a bit of time wasting and Felixstowe had almost seen the game out then they won it with a stunning break away goal with the left winger blasting a strike in accross the keeper. It was no less than the visitors deserved in all honesty, it would of been a traversty if they hadn''t of got all 3 pts. Enjoyed the game and got home in about an hour.
