| What a lovely club.
A long train journey but interesting on the Preston to Burnley line going through Blackburn (past the Thwaites brewery) and Accrington. Still have to go to both of these !!
VIP tickets in the 1882 lounge. Good food, lots to drink and an excellent host (Jeff Brown - bald on top but long at the back) - hilarious**
Gareth came with us and guessed the time of the first goal to the precise second and won a signed Burnley football.
We all drank too much and all fell asleep on the train. Still not sure who saved us from London.
Another great day with lovely people.
** just found out he used to the be the man on the Safestyle windows commercial (catchphrase = You buy one - you get one free)
