Cardiff defended resolutely. Little of excitement. Gary Bennett at the back for Cardiff played well. The ground itself was overlooked by a hospital. The main stand side seemed to consist of a series of three different stands. Away supporters were on a covered terrace at one end: home supporters an uncovered one at the other. One of those grounds that is functional but not memorable.
